Telstra is an international telecommunications and technology provider. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Telstra is the largest telecommunications company in Australia. Domestic service statistics include 18.8 million retail mobile customers, 3.8 million fixed bundles and 960,000 standalone voice clients.[1] In addition, the company's global reach extends to more than 20 countries, with 3,500 employees working outside of Australia.[2]
TLS shares are listed for public trade on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). As of August 2021, TLS held a market capitalisation of nearly AU$35 billion.[3] The company's valuation has made it a constituent of the ASX 200 equities index.[4] Telstra shares are available for trade over-the-counter under the symbols TSTD (Germany) and TLSYY (U.S.).
