Downloading Trading Station: Procedure

Downloading Trading Station is relatively simple. It doesn't matter which Windows-based web browser is your favourite, only a few basic steps are necessary to complete the process:

  1. Click on the "Download Trading Station" link - This downloads the FXCM Trading Station Setup module
  2. Click "Next" and accept the Licensing Agreement's terms, after familiarizing yourself with them
  3. Enter the desired Installation Options
  4. Choose Install Location and click "Install" -Installation is now complete. Simply login and begin your market experience!
  5. Click "Finish" - Installation is now complete. Simply login and begin your market experience!

Depending on your chosen browser, accessing Trading Station's Installation Wizard may vary a bit. Here is the procedure to get the Installation Wizard up and running for each browser. The following instructions begin immediately after clicking on the "Download Trading Station" link:

  1. Upon the download being completed, a pop-up window will ask to "run" or "save" the file.
  2. Click "Run"
  3. Follow the instructions of the Installation Wizard

  1. The download will appear in the lower left-hand corner of the page as "FXTS2Install.EXE"
  2. Right-click or double-click on "FXTS2Install.EXE" - This action will open the Installation Wizard

Uninstalling Trading Station

If you need to uninstall Trading Station, the procedure is uniform and basic:

  1. Access your PC's "Control Panel"
  2. Select "Add or Remove Programs" or "Uninstall a Program"
  3. Right-click on "FXCM Trading Station"
  4. Select "Yes" to confirm the uninstall
  5. Select to "fully uninstall" or with "settings saved"
  6. Click "Finish."

Accessing Trading Station On A Mac

Many people prefer to use a Mac. If this is the case, FXCM recommends the following services to bridge the Windows OS/Mac OS gap:

  1. FXCM's Free Virtual Private Server (VPS) Hosting1
  2. Parallels: Third-party software from Parallels IP Holdings. Parallels enables the user to run Windows and Mac OS simultaneously.
  3. Fusion: Provides similar functionality as Parallels, offered by VMware Inc.
  4. Boot Camp Boot Camp is furnished by Apple as a pre-installed feature on newer computers. It will not allow the user to run Windows and the Mac OS at the same time.

In addition to these solutions, remember that Trading Station is available via the Web and Mobile platforms. Simply search "Trading Stations" in your mobile device's app store to gain access.
