Founded in 2011, CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. is a cybersecurity company focussed upon the cloud computing sector. Through development and launch of the Falcon platform, CrowdStrike offers clients 16 cloud-oriented modules aimed at a multitude of security markets.[1] Its primary target markets are corporate workload security, vulnerability management, IT operations management and threat intelligence services. In September 2020, Crowdstrike entered the personal security market through purchase of identity protection company Preempt Security. Crowdstrike's corporate headquarters are located in Sunnyvale, CA.
Shares of CRWD are available for public trade on the NASDAQ exchange. As of April 2021, CRWD boasted a market capitalisation of US$42.02 billion and 223.8 million shares outstanding.[2]
