How can I connect to the proxy servers?

For Proxy server issues on Trading Station, please use the below instructions to resolve the issue:

1. Open the Trading Station Desktop platform (do not log in).
2. At the top menu bar, click on File > Proxy Settings
3. The FX Settings Window should appear.
4. Click the Next button on each page until you reach the page entitled Proxy Settings. 
5. Check off the Proxy Settings check box and then fill out the information for your proxy server if you know it

​** Click on Internet Explorer to import the proxy settings from your internet browser. Click Next twice until you reach the end and then click on the Finish button.

Alternative Proxy Servers on Trading Station:

1. If you use a proxy to access the internet you can click the Internet Explorer button to import the Host and Port
2. If not, you will need to use a public proxy server. Public Proxy Servers is the best resource. Simply find a proxy server in your country and write down the Host and Port.Clients in SE Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei) with the specific proxy servers below.Host: 165.228.129.10 Port: 3128 If this host and port doesn't work, try these two below. Host: 208.83.221.138 Port: 3128 Host: 202.83.197.168 Port: 3128 We recommend the proxy servers below for South African clients.Host: cache.saix.net Port: 8080 If this host and port doesn't work, try these two below. Host: dsl-cache.saix.net Port: 8080 Host: 165.228.129.10 Port: 3128 

To add a proxy server on MetaTrader 4:

Select "Tools" -> "Options" -> "Server". Once that is complete, check the box for "Enable Proxy Server".
