What is the required internet speed for trading?

We recommend having the strongest internet connection possible. At a minimum, a 56K or dial up internet connection is supported but not recommended. 

Due to inherent volatility in the markets, it is important that traders have a working and reliable internet connection. There are circumstances when the trader's personal internet connection may not be maintaining a constant connection with the FXCM servers due to a lack of signal strength from a wireless or dial up connection.
